Almost every student growing up in this digital age enjoys playing video games. Wouldn’t it be better if video games were part of high school curriculum?
We recently stumbled upon a presentation by Victoria Van Voorhis, founder and CEO of NY based Second Avenue Software. In the presentation, she discusses the challenges in taking serious games and interactive media into K-16 spectrum.
Second Avenue Software is a woman-owned business that specializes in the development of award winning interactive media and serious games for education and training. In this presentation Voorhis offers comprehensive solution on how to integrate games in classroom to boost the potential learning outcomes.
The video is an hour long but worth your time.
