Bear in mind this graphic was produced by New York City-based Knewton, an education company that personalizes learning for students so tracks the start of gamification with Carmen Sandiego (the history detective game) and ends with Knewton’s own product. Other than that, this is a dense overview of the growing landscape for gamified learning.
