The New York Times this morning lists top education apps heading into the school year. Shelly Freierman notes that the education tools include flash card tools, math games and language learning apps. “Two of the more unusual apps open large online collections to users: Free Books, offers more than 23,000 books and TED contains a video library of 1,300 TED Conference talks.”
